Puzzle
Gatekeeper's Vigil
★★★★★ 4.5
Gatekeeper's Vigil leans hard into the maze side of tower defence. You get very few tower slots, so each one has to count, and the enemies take whatever path you leave open. It feels less like a shooter and more like a logic puzzle where the pieces fight back.
What we loved is that most levels have a 'clean' solution you can discover with trial and error. The moment you find the layout that funnels everything into your damage zone is genuinely satisfying. Later stages add splitting enemies and timed waves that force you to rethink old habits.
The pacing is deliberate, which some players may find slow. We found it relaxing. It's a great fit for short sessions since you can pause between waves without penalty.
